NPC's, or Non-Player Character's, are those poor individuals subject to the actions of the Dragon Friends (the PC's, Player Character's). They populate the towns, cities and worlds that the Friends visit over the course of their adventures.

They come in great varieties. Some have intricate, complicated backstories making them rich with details and distinct personalities, ready to be explored in full. Unfortunately, it often happens that these backstories are left untold, for the Dragon Friends are very good at making NPC's cease to exist. Other NPC's appear out of thin air, often as an afterthought and not from Dave's DM notes. These NPC's are not intended to extensively talk about their personal life but do so anyway.

Most NPC's pull from the same rich and extensive collection of voices provided by Ben Jenkins, with additional details and plot-hook interjections by Dungeon Dave. Ben may receive aid from Edan Lacey.

Not to be confused with Guest Characters, who are PC's temporarily joining the party.
